Reviews
"I would call the release of Mlada's album “Oy vesna, vesna” a quiet sensation. Mlada grabs attention with her delicate handling of folk music, her voice sounding both archaic and modern. Her informal approach to Ukrainian musical origins is pleasing. Importantly, this is the first work entirely based on original Ukrainian folk material from start to finish. It evokes significant optimism in the development of domestic 'normal' music." - Olexiy Kogan, music critic, radio host.
"While leaving the deeply moving and beautiful melodies of the original untouched, Mlada offers to view familiar folkloric plots in different settings, transforming them with her lyrical, feminine, soulful, and romantic approach." - Tala, Enter Music TV.
